Rockin' The Square @ Mo & Sluggo's,  9-20-08

Crowd shot. Well at least the start of the crowd for the night. I heard "If you play they will come" whispered in the wind. It must have been true because more people showed up. This was part of a group that just partied down all night. They were great. We want them at every show. Someone tell our publicist to get there addresses and email me here at the site. You know when everyone see's us up there they don't understand that we're just regular guys. Not supermen. Just regular guys. Don't be afraid to say hello. We won't pop a cap in you I promise. At least not for saying hello. That's for later when you get out of hand. There I am playing star again. I know I seem larger then life but I'm really a fragile kinda' guy. I like long moonlit walks by the lake. Campfires at night. And poetry read to me by candle light. Ya Right! I'm a guy not a fairy. Again, the girl in the green. Who was she? Where did she come from? We need to know. It's not for selfish reasons, but for the good of the band as a whole that we need to know. Someone tell our publicist to find out.

Here's some first set dancers. It's always nice to have first set dancers. They break the ice. More dancers. These people were great. They come out every year to see us. I think? Shaun with some cool light effect. He's really not that cool, it's just the light effects that made him that way. Take it from me. I know. I play with him. Ha ha. Here's James singing Happy Birthday to his daughter. His wife Jen was there with his daughter. And now I understand why she's daddy's little girl. You would be too if you were her getting this kind of attention. And him finishing his daughters birthday song. James really can sing. We didn't know how good of a singer he was until he did this birthday song. I'm sure he could sing opera if he wanted to.

Jesse Fields with his daughter Grace. And of course she's probably daddies girl as well. All that attention. What a lucky child. Ya know, maybe if I got that kind of attention when I was young I wouldn't have turned out the low life scum bag, rock n roll hero, love em' and leave em', make my own rules, pop a cap in ya if ya mouth off kinda guy that I am today. Yep. If only. As you can see drinking and smoking were allowed at this event. Thank God. And there's just something hot about a girl that smokes. It must be the phallic symbolism. You know the saying "If she smokes she pokes" I just don't know. I'll have to explore this phenomenon at a closer look and present my findings when completed.   This is where it all took place. Outside of Mo & Sluggo's. Also we want to thank very much the following... Firken & Fox, Bella Fiore wines, B' Sghetti's italian Restaurant and of course Carson Cigar. And Downtown Re-Development for putting this on. Please visit these fine places gang. And tell em' Bad Intent sent ya. And here's Morrey, the owner of Mo & Sluggo's. This is just a great guy. One of the nicest you'll meet. If you get a chance you should stop by and have a drink and some Killer Mexican food at the bar. Or stop in for lunch and say hello to Morrey from the band. And the band getting started. We want to know who the hot babe is in the green half shirt and if she was cold. It looked like she was if you know what we mean. Ha Ha. No just kidding. We couldn't see that far from the stage. But if anyone would like to email us and let us know with blown up color pictures, we would be grateful.

You know gang, when we're up on that stage I know we just seem larger than life. And we are. But you can still talk to us after we come down from Mt Olympus. We're just regular guys. That's all. We'll talk to you if you say hi and want to talk to us. I know we seem stuck up all the way up there. But we're not. It's all for the show. Ya that's it the show. Ya. Isn't this great. No fights. No beer bottles being thrown. No chicken wire hanging up in front of the stage. No guns or drive by's happnin'. No one bustin' a cap in someone's ass. No one havin' to accidently break arms. No one being accidently thrown into on coming traffic. And even the crowd was good too. Well the band has been known to get out of hand. Well here's our FEARLESS guitar player and James the drummer in the back ground. You see when I refer to Shaun as fearless try and think of the cowardly Lion in the Wizard Of Oz movie. You know the one who wanted courage but pretended to be courageous in the presence of others. Well that's Shaun. Scared to death on stage but masking his fear very well. I'm so glad everyone braved the cold and hung with us all night. It just wouldn't have been as much fun without you guys. No really it wouldn't have been. Our fearless guitar player. Notice how I didn't say fearless leader. Shaun couldn't lead a pack of hungry wolves to meat without getting lost or screwing it up. And somehow getting eaten himself by the wolves. Of course I'm just joking. He knows that. Less I be sued for slander by our guitar player. I should say ALLEGEDLY ALL OF THE ABOVE. Ya that's it, ALLEGEDLY.

My old buddy Eric Wood. He says we still rock. His favorites were Tom Sawyer, Livin' On A Prayer, Don't Stop Believin' and Separate Ways.  Thanks Eric! Great crowd. Again thanks everyone. All kidding aside you were great. We would not of had as much fun without you guys. So thanks so much for braving the cold and hangin' with us.
Hey gang. I would like to express my deepest thanks to all of you that came out and braved the cold with us. Also special thanks to Melanie for all the pictures and Brad for nothing. Ha Ha. And for all your compliments on how well we did. And how great our new lineup is as well. We can only say thank you. We could not have felt more like Rock Stars this night. And thanks to all the hot babes that were there with us, and those of you who wore your Bad Intent shirts and Thongs girls. Ouch. Thank You. And we hope to see you all again next time. Take care everyone until then.
