Hey gang. Well what can we say. First off we'd like to thank the |
|
|
Atomic Giants (Sean, Mike, Davey and Greg) for letting us be a part of such a |
|
|
great time. And we want to thank everyone that came out for Mikki at |
|
|
her celebration of life party at Decades. We hope that everyone had a great |
|
|
time in remembering her and what she used to love. She is missed. |
|
|
Bad Intent, has never played a benefit for free, "Except Mikki's." |
|
|
There was not even a question about us doing it. We wanted to be a part of it. |
|
|
That's How Much Mikki And Kim meant to all of us. |
|
|
They are both missed very much by us and many others. We want to |
|
|
wish Ron Toews, well. And especially Linda, Mikki and Kim's mother. |
|
|
Both of whom have had a very hard time. And we want them to know how |
|
|
much both mean to us. We had so much fun with everyone and especially |
|
|
The Atomic Giants. We want to thank Mike and Davey for coming on up and |
|
|
playing with us. And we hope that maybe we might be able to do something |
|
|
with them again in the future. I was so impressed with Mike the singer of the |
|
|
Atomic giants. We've already known what a killer guitarist Sean Nebecker is. |
|
|
What an awesome drummer Davey is and great bassist that Greg is. But to |
|
|
hear mike sing with them was a treat. Really a great voice and a compliment |
|
|
to the band. I never knew he could sing that well. We're glad he sat in with us. |
|
|
Him and Davey. Mike even pulled off Guns n Roses-Sweet Child O Mine. Wow! |
|
|
And I really want to thank my guys Shaun, James and Joe, playing for free. |
|
|
I'm so fortunate to play with such great players as these guys. Not only are |
|
|
they so talented, but they are great guys and so humble about their ability. So |
|
|
again a very special thanks to them for giving their time to do this. |
|
|
We can't say enough good things about Mikki's party. And everyone that |
|
|
was there. We were also honored that Staci flew in from back east to be there. |
|
|
It was great to see her. Also everyone else that made it out for the party. |
|
|
It will be an evening that will live on in everyone's memory. We want to |
|
|
especially thank Teri for all the work she did to put on the party. And Lynette |
|
|
for the awesome picture magnets she did of Mikki and Kim. And also Sean for |
|
|
organizing the entertainment. And anyone else that we missed who was |
|
|
involved. And especially Linda and Ron Toews. Well I hope that we covered |
|
|
everyone and if I missed thanking anyone please email and let me know. |
|
|
We'll be playing this Friday night at 3rd ST. in Carson City outside. We'd love |
|
|
to see everyone there for another great time. |
|
